Pepukayi Books is the specialist bookshop housed within the Ma'at Centre, offering one of the most extensive collections of African-centered literature in the UK. Focused on Black history, Pan-African thought, spirituality, healing, and liberation, the bookshop serves as a vital resource for scholars, educators, activists, and community members seeking knowledge rooted in African traditions and worldviews.

Founded by Elder Nkrumah Pepukayi, the shop is more than a retail space — it’s a living library, a repository of resistance, and a source of soul nourishment for all who seek deeper understanding of Africa’s past, present, and future.
